Sérvulo and PLMJ advise on Lisbon property acquisition
Sérvulo and PLMJ advised on the acquisition of the Ramalho Ortigão 51 Building in Lisbon. The building was acquired by Imofomento, an open-ended real estate investment fund managed by BPI, with Sérvulo providing legal counsel. PLMJ advised Incus Capital, the seller. The property is located near Avenida António Augusto de Aguiar and Praça de Espanha and currently houses tenants such as the National Communications Authority, CIMPOR, the Embassy of Japan, and Solvay.
On Sérvulo’s side, the transaction was led by a multidisciplinary team headed by the partners of the real estate, urban planning, and tourism department, Manuel Magalhães (managing partner), and Sofia Thibaut Trocado (partner), who provided full legal support in the due diligence process as well as the negotiation and formalization of the acquisition. Other advisors participated: associates Inês Mundel Calado and Pedro João Domingos, along with consultants Carla Parreira Leandro and Filipa Névoa (real estate); partner Teresa Pala Schwalbach and associate Lénia Carolina Sousa (tax); partner António Teles and associates Alexandra Valpaços and Nuno Temudo Vieira (litigation); associate Isabel Guimarães Salgado (public law); and solicitor Luís Monteiro Romão (notarial services).
On PLMJ’s side, the team was led by the co-coordinating partner of the real estate department, Francisco Lino Dias, and included the participation of real estate associate, Marta Vanzeler.
