RCD adds Francisco de Asís García as tax partner
RCD has added Francisco de Asís García as a new partner in its tax law area. The move reinforces an existing team that advises and represents businesses and individuals in complex tax proceedings, in a practice area marked by technical complexity and evolving regulation.
García specializes in tax proceedings before the tax authorities, acting in defence of taxpayers. Over the course of his career he has handled appeals before Economic and Administrative Courts, the High Courts of Justice, the National High Court, the Supreme Court, the Constitutional Court and the Court of Justice of the European Union.
The profile
García holds a degree in Law and Business Administration and Management from the University of Murcia, along with a Master’s Degree in Advanced and Specialised Legal Research from the same institution and a Master’s Degree in Tax Consultancy from ENAE Business School. He holds a PhD in Law and was a finalist for the Fernando Sainz de Bujanda National Thesis Prize in Financial and Tax Law.
Alongside his legal practice, García maintains an academic and research career. He is a research fellow at the Chair of Regional Finance and the Regional Finance Observatory of the Region of Murcia, and a member of the Professional Forum on Law and Business Administration and Management. He also teaches at ENAE Business School on the Master’s in Tax Consultancy, the Master’s in Financial Management and the Master’s in International Trade, and has spoken at courses and conferences at various universities and institutions, in addition to authoring publications and articles in legal and sector-specific journals.
