ONTIER, Abreu guide INNOLIVA´s expansion in Spain and Portugal

ONTIER and Abreu Advogados will advise Seville-based INNOLIVA on its expansion project in Spain and Portugal

ONTIER has become the legal partner of the company INNOLIVA (Olivos Naturales) to provide legal advice on its expansion project in Spain and Portugal.

INNOLIVA, whose headquarters are currently located in Seville, was founded in Spain in 2006 and is one of the pioneers in intensive olive oil production. With its 5,000 hectares of olive groves in Spain and Portugal, it produces up to 10,000 tonnes of extra virgin olive oil per year.

The team that will participate in the project, under the coordination of Francisco Fenoy, is made up of the Commercial and Labour areas of ONTIER Spain, which together with their own work, will also be in charge of coordinating the legal advice provided to the client Abreu Advogados from Portugal, where most of Innoliva’s farms are located.

This operation contributes to strengthening ONTIER’s positioning as a law firm specialising in the agro-food and retail sector, with clients such as Euromadi, Calidad Pascual, Acolsa, AGQ Labs and Euroliva, among many others.

This project has been managed by ONTIER´s Agro-food team, headed by counsel and former Covirán CEO Luis Osuna (pictured left) and Corporate/M&A partner Francisco Fenoy (pictured right), and represents a new important milestone in ONTIER’s commitment to the agro-food and retail sector.

Martim Menezes, partner at Abreu Advogados, will lead led the team that will advise the company in Portugal, also including lawyers Tiago Leote Cravo, Marta Romano de Castro and Simão de Sant’Ana.
