EML names new Iberia Compliance & Legal officer

EML Payments has hired hires Alfonso Díez de Revenga Ruiz, who joins from Andjoy, to be its new Compliance & Legal officer for Iberia

Díez de Revenga (pictured) is a Corporate Compliance specialist, a Public Affairs manager and a Scrum master. As the new Legal & Compliance Officer for Iberia at Australia-based payment solutions company EML Payments, he will provide local Legal advice and develop the Regulatory Compliance function for the Spanish branch of the company.

EML Payments purchased former London-based Prepaid Financial Services in 2019.

For the last three years, he has been head of Legal Affairs at Andjoy, and head of Legal, Compliance & Public Affairs at Sodexo. Previously he worked as General Legal Affairs & Litigation Team leader at ING.

He has also worked as an associate in prestigious law firms like CMS Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo, Cuatrecasas. He graduated in Law from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas ICAI-ICADE ad holds several advanced programmes from IE Business School in Privacy & Data Protection, Financial Institutions Regulation, Banking, Corporate, Finance and Securities Law. He also has a MPA from Universidad Pontificia Comillas in Pubblic Affairs Management.
