Marta Nadal Cebrián, SGAE’s new director of legal services
The Sociedad General de Autores y Editores (SGAE) has appointed Marta Nadal Cebrián, from Uría Menéndez, as director of legal services.

Marta has developed her career as a lawyer in the area of civil and commercial litigation, and specializes in Intellectual Property and New Technologies Law (including NFTs and Artificial Intelligence). Currently, she combines her work with teaching: she is a professor of the Master’s Degree in Access to the Legal Profession at IE Law School and of the Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. She has participated in numerous conferences and professional congresses, and also published a significant number of articles in specialized forums.
She holds a Law Degree with Extraordinary Prize and a Degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Valencia, and completed her education with a Master’s Degree in Corporate Legal Consultancy and a Master in Legal Tech LLM, both at the Instituto de Empresa.
He began his professional career at the law firm Deloitte, in the areas of consulting and auditing. In 2012 she joined the firm Uría Menéndez in the Litigation and Arbitration area, being appointed senior associate in 2020, a position she has held until today. Last year, the Madrid Bar Association awarded her the Sections 2022 Award in the category of “Robotics, AI and virtual reality” for one of her legal studies published on the subject.
