Madrid’s Carlos III University organises international congress about the digital economy, regulatory contractual and competition aspects

The next 14 and 15 November the International Congress: “The Digital Economy: regulatory, contractual and competition aspects” will be held at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (Puerta de Toledo campus).This forum aims to address the legal challenges posed by digital platforms in different sectors such as energy, financial markets and contracts. It is divided in four round tables: the challenges of digitalization for competition policy, digitization and the new challenges in contract law, the impact of digitalization in financial markets and the impact of digitalization in energy markets. Pilar Carnedo, Counselor at CMNC, will close the event with the conference about the digital economy in the European Union.

Academics, members of regulatory agencies, representatives of the private sector and experts will participate in the conference. This initiative has been led by Pilar Perales Viscasillas, Chaired profesor of Commercial Law at University Carlos III of Madrid and Antonio Robles Martín-Laborda, Commercial Law lecturer at University Carlos III of Madrid. 

The lectures will be in English. The event will be retransmitted in streaming.
