HSF in the acquisition of Grupo Navarro
Herbert Smith Freehills has advised Altano Energy on the acquisition of 100% of Grupo Navarro Generación, an energy company specialised in hydro assets.
By this deal, Altano Energy acquires a renewable portfolio of a total of 112 MW of mini-hydro and photovoltaic assets in the Iberian Peninsula, including both operational and advanced development projects located in Asturias, León and Cuenca.
The firm will contribute to reduce the emission of more than 70,000 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere and generate the equivalent of clean energy supply for more than 80,000 homes.
