GA_P advises the Ministry on the implementation of the PERTE for the Digitalisation of the Water Cycle
Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has advised the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge on the implementation of the Strategic Project for Economic Recovery and Transformation (PERTE) for the Digitalisation of the Water Cycle, approved by the Council of Ministers on 22 March 2022.
The PERTE aims to modernise the water cycle through three tools: digitalisation, innovation and training. The aim is to make water management efficient and sustainable. To achieve its objectives, this PERTE establishes four lines of action that comprehensively cover the management of the water cycle:
1. Improving governance in the management of water uses;
2. Promoting the digitalisation of the basin organisations;
3. Development of aid programmes for the promotion of digitalisation for the different water users in Spain;
4. Promoting training and innovation in digital skills in water administration and management.
