De Carlos Remón signs José Javier Polo

Starting January, prosecutor of the Spanish National High Court, José Javier Polo, will join law firm De Carlos Remón

Polo (pictured) will head and strengthen the criminal and economic department of the firm. Prior to his appointment, he was a prosecutor in the Spanish National High Court since 2018. He has over 30 years of experience as a prosecutor in legal areas like criminal, constitutional, international legal cooperation, immigration law and asylum, judicial organization, legal status of minors, economic criminal law in particular criminal responsibility of the legal person.

Polo began his career in 1985, and during this time he has also acted as a Public Prosecutor in Girona, in the Court of Malaga, in the Court of Toledo and was Chief Provincial Public Prosecutor in Madrid.
