Cuatrecasas advises Dacsa on Portuguese grinding company purchase
Cuatrecasas has advised on the acquisition of 100% of the Portuguese company Dacsa Atlantic, S.A. (formerly Atlantic Meals, S.A.) by Dacsa Group
Cuatrecasas advised Grupo Dacsa – Maicerías Españolas, S.A. on the acquisition of 100% of the Portuguese company Dacsa Atlantic, S.A. (formerly Atlantic Meals, S.A.), which is dedicated to the drying, storage, processing and marketing of rice and corn for the food industry, brewing industry and large distribution chains. Dacsa Group already owned 50% of Dacsa Atlantic since 2015.
A multidisciplinary team of Cuatrecasas participated in this transaction, consisting of Partner João Mattamouros Resende (pictured) and associate Francisco de Almeida Viegas, both from the Corporate and M&A department, consultant Sandra Lima da Silveira, from the Labour Law department, and senior associate Ana Helena Farinha, from the Tax Law department.
