Civita Legal, a platform to promote transparency in city councils

Civita Legal has officially launched with the mission of improving the implementation of transparency and corporate governance models in public entities. The new platform offers a comprehensive solution, utilizing a proprietary methodology to help municipalities and local administrations meet their transparency obligations effectively.

The firm provides a robust transparency protocol that promotes internal self-regulation, ensures proper procurement and service delivery, and fosters effective social communication channels to strengthen the relationship between local governments and citizens.

The initiative has been developed collaboratively by a team of experienced professionals: Vanesa Fernández, a compliance law specialist; Iñaki Iribarren and Jorge Iribarren, both litigation experts; Erika Torregrosa, a corporate diplomacy specialist and advisor to public institutions; and Francisco Javier Orduña Moreno, professor of civil law and former Supreme Court magistrate, recognized for his work in promoting transparency as a key tool for good governance.

Civita Legal’s methodology begins with an audit to assess regulatory compliance and identify areas for improvement in transparency and governance. Based on this evaluation, a tailored transparency framework is designed and implemented, establishing open and accessible procedures to build public trust.

The team also provides legal advisory services to ensure proper application of the framework and compliance with current regulations, adapting to the evolving needs of local communities. Additionally, training programs are offered for public officials and employees, focusing on ethics, good governance, and transparency to encourage responsible practices across all municipal departments.
