Broseta names Víctor Fernández partner
Broseta has reinforced its Litigation and Insolvency practice with the incorporation of Víctor Fernández as partner in its Barcelona office, as part of the firm’s strategic plan “Horizonte 27”.
Víctor Fernández is a specialist commercial magistrate, currently on leave of absence, who joined the judiciary in 1999 and served from 2004 in the Commercial Courts of Palma de Mallorca. In 2019 he joined Lexaudit, bringing extensive experience in commercial law and a strong specialisation in legal advice to companies.
With the hire of Víctor Fernández, Broseta consolidates its growth strategy in Barcelona, where it has a team of 35 professionals specialised by practice area in Commercial, Tax, Labour, Public, Litigation, Criminal and Administrative law, and in sectors such as Energy, Real Estate, M&A, Banking and Finance, and Defence and Security.
The profile
The new partner has a background in commercial litigation, corporate disputes, director liability and the challenge of corporate resolutions, among other matters. He has extensive experience advising companies in crisis situations, combining contentious work with in-depth knowledge of insolvency and pre-insolvency law. He has also acted as an independent expert in complex restructuring processes, including those of Celsa and Duro Felguera
Víctor Fernández holds a law degree from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and is the author of numerous publications, regularly participating as a speaker at forums specialised in commercial and insolvency law.
