DLA Piper advises Ark Data on €600M Barcelona deal
DLA Piper has advised Ark Data Centres on the acquisition of 30,000 square metres of industrial land in Barcelona, forming part of a broader investment exceeding €600 million aimed at developing a new data centre campus in the city.
The planned facility, located in Barcelona’s “La Maquinista” area, is expected to deliver a capacity of up to 45 MW IT. The transaction supports Barcelona’s growing role as a hub for digital infrastructure in Southern Europe. The deal involved a cross-office team spanning Madrid, London, and Leeds.
