Dentons promotes Ignacio Fernández Echevarría to counsel
Dentons has promoted Ignacio Fernández Echevarría to counsel in its Banking & Finance practice in Madrid, recognising his track record in complex financing transactions and long-standing contribution to the firm.
Fernández Echevarría, previously a senior associate, advises on credit portfolio acquisitions and management, often involving insolvency-related elements, as well as real estate finance. His practice also covers international syndicated lending, asset finance, export finance, restructurings, structured finance, project finance and acquisition finance.
The profile
He holds dual degrees in Law and Business Administration from the Complutense University of Madrid and a master’s degree in Business Law from the University of Navarra.
Fernández Echevarría has been recognised by Best Lawyers in Banking and Finance Law and was named Banking and Finance Lawyer of the Year at the Iberian Lawyer Forty Under 40 awards, as well as a Rising Star by IFLR1000.
