Youandlaw advises Geniova in a €15m round led by Inveready and CDTI

Geniova, a pioneer in the invisible orthodontics sector thanks to its patented hybrid technique, has closed a €13 million financing round, combining equity and convertible loans. The deal has been led by Inveready and CDTI’s Innvierte Program, with the backing of existing shareholders.

Antonio Baselga, CEO and co-founder of Geniova, said, “This financing will allow us to accelerate our international expansion and bring our innovative hybrid technique to more patients worldwide. The transaction not only strengthens our financial position, but also validates our long-term vision and strategy”.

Aniol Brosa, General Partner of Inveready, commented: “We are delighted to support Geniova at this crucial stage of its growth. We strongly believe in the potential of its hybrid technique and its ability to transform the orthodontic market globally.” CDTI Innovation, through the Innvierte Program, has provided 3.6 million euros as part of its commitment to promote technological and innovative projects in Spain.

Youandlaw‘s legal team, led by partner Pablo Casado and attorneys Isabel Gonzalo and María Serrano de la Cruz, advised Geniova throughout the transaction, ensuring that each stage of the process met the highest legal standards and was tailored to the company’s strategic needs.
