WFW and PwC advise Platina on Spanish solar plants sale

The Madrid offices of Watson Farley & Williams (WFW) and PwC advised Platina Energy Partners on the sale of a 30MWp (megawatt peak) solar plant portfolio in Spain to investment manager Q-Energy.

The portfolio consists of four solar photovoltaic plans located near Toledo, Sevilla and Tenerife.

Platina arranged financing for the portfolio with UniCredit, NordLB and Santander in 2008-2009.

Platina has been managing funds investing in renewable energy for the past 17 years – it has deployed €1.3 billion, which is invested in four development platforms, and operated more than 740 megawatts of renewable assets.
