Uría Menéndez incorporates Arnau Xumetra as counsel

Uría Menéndez has hired Arnau Xumetra as counsel in its Barcelona office, thus reinforcing the firm’s Business Criminal Law and Internal Investigations team.

Raimon Tagliavini, co-managing partner of Uría Menéndez’s Barcelona office, has expressed the firm’s satisfaction at the addition of Arnau Xumetra’s knowledge and experience. “His incorporation will contribute to consolidate the leadership of the firm’s Criminal Law team,” he said.

With a degree in Law from the University of Barcelona, Xumetra has developed his professional career in the firm Martell Abogados, where he has accumulated extensive experience in criminal advice, both in pre-litigation and in court.

In addition to his professional practice, he has collaborated with the Department of Procedural Law and the Department of Criminal Law and Criminal Sciences of the University of Barcelona for several years and has participated in teaching activities at the University Abat Oliba CEU and the Bar Association of Barcelona.
