Uría Menéndez and Garrigues advise on the acquisition of two Spanish citrus producers

Uría Menéndez advised GPF Capital and private investor Alexandre Darbonne on the acquisition of a stake in Valencia-based Fruxeresa and Murcia´s Frutas Naturales, who were advised by Garrigues

According to market sources both companies, which have a combined turnover of around €140 million, will merge into a new group specialized in conventional and organic citrus exports.

The team from Uría Menéndez was led by partner Francisco San Miguel (pictured left) and included partner David López Pombo, senior associate Adrián Lozano, junior associate Manuel Delgado, junior associate Santiago Menéndez, senior associate Nieves Sánchez and junior associate Miloslava Ilcheva.

Garrigues acted as the legal advisor for Fruxeresa and Frutas Naturales, with a team that included partners Bartolomé Úbeda (pictured right), Francisco Soler, José Manuel Hernando, José María Monzó, senior associates Alberto Valiente, Antonio Morga, Javier Guinot, associate María Martínez Carrillo and lawyer María José Alarte.
