Toda & Nel-lo advises Rights & Media on €67m loan to 11 LaLiga clubs

Toda & Nel-lo has advised Rights & Media Funding Limited on the granting of a €67 million loan over the same five-year period to 11 clubs operating in LaLiga

UK’s Rights & Media Funding will provide cash-flow financing to Spain´s LaLiga teams, including some recently promoted to the first division. This is the first major loan of its kind from a major European league, an operation considered to be a milestone in the world of football and one of the largest transactions carried out at European level in the sector.

Toda & Nel-lo advised financial services company Rights & Media Funding Limited on Spanish Law matters while English firm Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner provided Legal advice on English Law. Toda & Nel-lo has been advised Rights & Media on all financing transactions in Spain.
