Ticketbis advised by Cuatrecasas on acquisition by eBay
Cuatrecasas Gonçalves Pereira advised ticket vendor Ticketbis on its acquisition by eBay.
Ebay made the acquisition through its subsidiary, StubHub.
Ticketbis is a Spanish company that acts as an intermediary in ticket selling between private parties.
The Cuatrecasas team was led by partner Francisco J. Martínez Maroto.
The deal was valued at €148 million, according to Mergermarket.
StubHub, which was acquired by eBay in 2007, operates in the ticket resale market in the US, Canada and the UK. Ticketbis is active in 47 countries, with a strong presence in Spain, Portugal, Asia and South America.
