Sonova advised by PLMJ on €830m Audionova deal

PLMJ advised Sonova Holding in Portugal on its acquisition of Audionova for €830 million.

 

Switzerland-based Sonova Holding is a manufacturer of hearing aids.

Audionova is one of the biggest hearing aid retail groups in Europe – it has more than 1,300 shops in eight European countries, and its sales totalled €360 million in 2015.

PLMJ´s Oporto-based partner Maria da Conceição Cabaços led the team advising on the transaction.

Partner Ricardo Oliveira advised on EU and competition law issues.
