Telles strengthens its team with new talent
Telles has announced the addition of Leonor Ximenes de Mesquita to its finance and capital markets team and the private equity and venture capital group, which form part of its corporate, M&A, and private equity practice. The teams are coordinated by partners Márcio Carreira Nobre and Ofélia Pinto de Queiroz, respectively.
Leonor specializes in advising on financing transactions, commercial paper programs, bond loans, and loan assignments. She also has significant experience in banking regulation and supervision, including drafting documentation for banking products. Leonor holds a law degree, a master’s degree in business law, and a postgraduate qualification in Fintech – Financial Technology from the Faculty of Law, University of Lisbon.
Strengthening real estate and international mobility practices
In recent months, Telles has expanded its team with several key additions. In October, the firm also welcomed Andreia Lima Cruz as an associate to reinforce its real Estate, construction, and urban planning practice, co-led by partners Pedro Almeida e Sousa and Miguel Nogueira Leite, as well as its international mobility and visas practice, headed by partner André Gonçalves.
Andreia brings over a decade of experience in advising on real estate investment projects in the Lisbon and Algarve markets. Her expertise spans investment analysis, acquisitions, leases, and other real estate operations. She also frequently advises foreign clients on acquiring Portuguese nationality and securing various residence permits.
Andreia graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Lisbon, and holds a postgraduate degree in urban planning and housing law from the same institution. She also earned a master’s degree in business law from ISCTE – University Institute of Lisbon.
