SRS Legal has advised ECS on the acquisition of B&B Montijo, a 112-room hotel unit leased to B&B Hotels and previously owned by a partnership between partnership between Sunny BB and Casais. The purchase was made through the Portugal Strategic Growth Fund, managed by ECS.
The building has around 4200 square metres of gross floor area, spread over four floors above ground, with a basement level with 15 car parking spaces. It is leased to the B&B Hotels group, a prominent player in the hotel sector based in France, and the Europe’s fastest-growing hotel chain in the economy segment, operating more than 720 hotels in 15 countries, including 12 properties in Portugal.
