SRS Advogados assists Vortal with “SaphetyGov” purchase

SRS Advogados has assisted Vortal – Comércio Electrónico, Consultadoria e Multimédia, S.A. (a Vallis Group company specialized in public procurement) with the acquisition of the public procurement platform “SaphetyGov” from the company Saphety Level – Trusted Services

The legal advice, provided in the area of Competition Law and which ensured the authorization of the transaction with the Competition Authority, was coordinated by Competition and EU Law partner Gonçalo Anastácio (pictured) and included same area managing associate Nuno Calaim Lourenço.

According to Vortal, the transaction is part of its growth strategy, providing an opportunity to obtain synergies and take advantage of the strong investment made in the field of interoperability between procurement platforms and also serves the objective of facilitating access to public procurement for more small and medium-sized companies.
