SRS acts for Aurora Cannabis on Gaia pharm deal

SRS Advogados advised Canadian company Aurora Cannabis on the acquisition of 51 per cent of Gaia Pharm.

Gaia Pharm is one of the “few Portuguese companies authorised to produce cannabis for pharmaceutical purposes in Portugal and intends to invest and grow in this highly regulated market,” a SRS Advogados statement said.

Aurora Cannabis specialises in the manufacture and distribution of cannabis for medicinal purposes.

The SRS Advogados team was led by partner Alexandre Valente (pictured).
