Squire Patton Boggs advises Copilot on Green Eagle investment

Squire Patton Boggs has advised Copilot Capital on a majority investment in Green Eagle Solutions, a Spanish software-as-a-service company that builds technology for autonomous renewable energy operations. The deal was led out of the firm’s London and Madrid offices.

Copilot Capital is a private equity firm that backs B2B software companies across Europe. Its investment in Green Eagle Solutions gives it majority control of the company, which was founded in 2012 and is headquartered in Spain with operations in 18 countries. Green Eagle’s flagship platform, ARSOS, automates renewable energy operations across wind, solar, battery storage and hydro assets, overseeing more than 10,000 wind turbines and executing over one million automated actions each month across Iberia, Europe, North America, Latin America, Australia and other EMEA markets, states the law firm.

The Squire Patton Boggs team was led by corporate partners Andrew Slucky in London and Teresa Zueco in Madrid, supported by Luis Gutierrez, Victoria James, Ricardo Ballesteros, Bartolome Martin and Francisco Huertas.
