Simmons & Simmons signs Carmen Torres as a new partner for its labour area
Simmons & Simmons has signed Carmen Torres (pictured) as a new partner in the labour law department, bringing the number of members of the firm in Spain to eleven.
Torres holds a degree in Law and Business Studies from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas Icade and has 18 years of professional experience in all areas of employment law, both in contentious and non-contentious matters.
The new partner joined Simmons & Simmons’ labour and employment team in 2014 and, until now, she was managing partner. There, she has focused on strategic advice – restructuring and internal flexibility measures, investigations, collective disputes – for national and international companies.
