RJ counsels Juniper on Avalon Informática y Servicios Group acquisition

Roca Junyent has advised Juniper Group, a division of the Canadian listed Group Constellation Software, Inc., on the acquisition of Avalon Informática y Servicios Group

Juniper Group, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Vela Software, an operating group of the Canadian listed Group Constellation Software, Inc. (TSX: CSU), has completed the acquisition of Avalon Informática y Servicios Group.

Since 1986, Madrid-based Avalon develops advanced PoS and ERP systems for service stations, convenience stores and fuel distribution centres across Spain and Latin America. Its highly integrated soft-and hardware solutions allow clients to manage their entire operations in real-time.

Following the acquisition, Avalon will operate as an independent division of the Juniper Group. The company will continue to develop, enhance, service, and support its range of software and hardware solutions in providing a competitive edge to its customers.
