Purchase of Alegro Sintra: PLMJ advises Castellana Properties

PLMJ has advised Castellana Properties Socimi on the acquisition of 50% of the share capital of Alegro Sintra – Sociedade Imobiliária, the owner of the Alegro Sintra shopping center, from Tiekenveen Golding BV. Earlier this year, in September, PLMJ had already advised Castellana Properties on its entry into the Portuguese market with the acquisition of three shopping centers from Harbert European Real Estate.

The PLMJ team was led by Ricardo Reigada Pereira, partner and co-coordinator of the Real Estate and Tourism practice (pictured), who oversaw the acquisition and tax structuring of the transaction. The team also included lawyers Leonardo Scolari, Hélder Santos Correia, Sofia Nogueira Leite, Catarina Patrício Cruz, and Leonor Urbano Guiomar.
