Plana Ventura Garcés hires Luis Hormeño as partner

Plana Ventura Garcés has incorporated a team led by Luis Hormeño Ocaña, who joins the firm as partner, in a move aimed at strengthening its labour and white-collar crime practice areas. He joins from Hormeño & Castañeda Abogados.

Hormeño brings more than 25 years of experience in labour and social security law, white-collar crime, compliance, arbitration and dispute resolution. He has advised companies across various sectors, both domestically and internationally, and has built a track record in the defense of senior executives as well as in economic criminal law matters linked to corporate activity and compliance. Throughout his career he has sat on several boards of directors, giving him a strategic understanding of corporate governance that he applies when designing defense strategies before national and international courts and arbitral bodies.

Also joining the firm is Fernando Castañeda, a lawyer specialized in criminal law and dispute resolution with more than ten years of experience. Castañeda has taken part in significant proceedings in Spain concerning economic and corporate crime, advising and defending companies, executives and individuals in complex criminal proceedings.
