Pérez-Llorca signs Equality Plan with CCOO and UGT

Pérez-Llorca has signed the first Equality Plan in order to promote the development and professional career of women at the firm

Perez Llorca Plan IgualdadPérez-Llorca has signed the first Equality Plan negotiated with the Federation of Services, Mobility and Consumption of the General Union of Workers (UGT) and the Federation of Services of CCOO, in order to promote the development and professional career of women at the firm.

The signing of the Equality Plan comes after negotiations held since September and seeks to promote the responsibility of all members of the firm in this area, while establishing a set of measures to further progress in achieving and ensuring gender equality among team members.

The objectives of the Equality Plan are to advance in equal opportunities and treatment between women and men, to further integrate the gender perspective and to guarantee equal pay for work of equal value. A monitoring committee has been created to ensure compliance with the plan and to carry out a six-monthly analysis and annual evaluation of the plan.

Among the training actions included in the Equality Plan are mentoring programs, leadership training for women, as well as awareness-raising sessions on key equality concepts such as the gender gap, co-responsibility and equal opportunities. Specific measures related to gender violence are also included.

The signing ceremony was held at the offices of Pérez-Llorca by Pedro Pérez Llorca (pictured center), managing partner of Pérez-Llorca, José María Martínez López (pictured left), secretary general of the CCOO Services Federation and Marina Prieto (pictured right), deputy secretary general of UGT.

Also present were Daniel Cifuentes, Labour partner of Pérez-Llorca, Constanza Vergara, corporate director and partner of Pérez-Llorca, and Eva Delgado, HR director of Pérez-Llorca, Laura Castelló, general secretary of Women and Equality of the Federation of Services of CCOO, and Raquel Galiana Vozmediano, technical advisor of the Secretariat of Equality and Social Rights of FeSMC UGT.
