Pérez-Llorca hires Real Estate associate from Dentons

Pérez-Llorca has hired Antonio García, ex-Dentons Real Estate associate, who will be part of new Jesús Varela´s team and also will start at Pérez-Llorca early September

Antonio García (pictured), former Denton´s Real Estate associate, where he has been working for the last five years with former managing partner Jesús Varela and Litigation partner Julio Parrilla, has been hired to be part of Pérez-Llorca´s Real Estate team, where he will keep working with Varela and Parrilla.

With his departure, there have been four lateral hires from Dentons to Pérez-Llorca so far; three partners (Jesús Varela, José Ramón Vizcaíno, Julio Parrilla) and one associate (García).

García advises on the purchase of NPL credit portfolios (both on their purchase and on their subsequent procedural management) and, on a regular basis, on Real Estate Finance matters.

He is author and coordinator of “Manual for Buying Debt in Spain” (Manual de Compra de Deuda en España). For this reason, during these years he has worked with both Jesús and Julio Parrilla (the Litigation partner who also joined PLL from Dentons).

He is included in prestigious international rankings in the Banking & Finance Law category, and he has recently received an award from the Revista Crítica de Derecho Inmobiliario for a doctrinal article on common mortgage.

Prior to Dentons, he worked at Uría Menéndez and White & Case. He has a Law degree and a Business Administration degree from Universidad Pontificia Comillas and a Political Science and Public Administration degree from the U.N.E.D.
