Pérez-Llorca advises Redevco on Way Dos Hermanas acquisition
Pérez-Llorca has advised Redevco on all legal aspects of its acquisition from Kronos and King Street of the Way Dos Hermanas retail warehouse park, located near Seville. The transaction was structured as a share deal.
The asset, which opened in 2020, comprises nearly 50,000 sq m of gross lettable area and is located in one of the fastest-growing areas of the Seville metropolitan area. The retail park offers a diversified mix of retailers, with Leroy Merlin, Lefties, Decathlon and Kiabi as its main anchor tenants. According to Redevco, Way Retail Park has experienced significant growth in both footfall and tenant sales in recent years.
The operation involved the purchase of the retail park by Redevco, with Kronos and King Street acting as sellers. Pérez-Llorca’s team advised the buyer on the legal aspects of the transaction.
The legal team
The Pérez-Llorca team was led by Jesús Varela, partner at the firm, who coordinated the overall advisory work. The real estate M&A group was headed by Nuria García, counsel, who supervised the team of specialists handling the deal. The group also included María Díez de Rivera and Claudia Muñoz-Cobo, along with other members of the firm’s real estate M&A practice.
