Garrigues advises lenders on Alicorp’s financing
Garrigues has advised the financing entities BBVA, Citi, J.P. Morgan and Santander on a multijurisdictional financing transaction of up to US$480 million for Alicorp S.A.A. and its subsidiaries.
The transaction included a committed revolving credit facility of up to US$230 million granted to Alicorp S.A.A., alongside US$250 million in term loans provided to its subsidiaries. The financing is intended to provide the company with a flexible funding platform to support its growth and expansion strategy across Latin America.
Garrigues acted as local counsel to the lenders on the Colombian, Peruvian and Spanish law aspects of the transaction, coordinating teams across its offices in Colombia, Peru and Spain to deliver an integrated cross-border advisory service.
The team
