O&C with Alfareal on Madrid coliving sale
Ortego & Cameno advised Grupo Alfareal on the sale of the Coliving Galerías asset, a residential building located in Madrid, to a Spanish family office. The transaction brings to a close a value-add investment cycle that began with the acquisition of an unfinished residential development that had been abandoned for more than fifteen years, states the law firm.
Grupo Alfareal, a platform that invests in, develops and operates Living assets across Iberia, identifies under-utilised assets in major Iberian cities and transforms them into residential spaces intended to benefit both communities and investors. Over approximately 26 months, the group carried out the full investment cycle on the asset, covering acquisition, development and operational stabilisation, turning it into a fully operational and fully let coliving property.
