Pérez-Llorca and GA_P on Aldous acquisition by Nazca

Perez-Llorca has advised Nazca Capital, a firm specialising in private equity investment in unlisted Spanish SMEs, on the acquisition, through its Nazca Small Cap II fund, of a majority stake in Aldous, a Spanish digitally native brand of scientifically backed food supplements. As part of this transaction, Gómez-Acebo & Pombo advised Aldous.

Nazca’s entry is part of an ambitious growth plan aimed at reaching €100 million in revenue through strengthening the brand across its existing channels, continuing to develop new products and expanding internationally. The plan includes the construction of a new industrial plant, which will generate significant employment opportunities in Almonacid del Marquesado (Cuenca), reinforcing Aldous Bio’s commitment to creating jobs in the town where it was founded.

Perez-Llorca advised Nazca Capital with a team led by corporate partner Carmen Reyna (pictured) supported by corporate lawyers Gonzalo Sánchez-Quiñones, Borja Gil-Casares and Beatriz Olivares. The banking and finance aspects were led by partner Eugenio Marín, with support from lawyer Mario Maza, while the tax team comprised partner Norma Peña and lawyer Sergi Aguilar.
