The November-December issue of The Latin American Lawyer is now available for free download

In this issue, The Latin American Lawyer changes its language and is presented in Spanish and Portuguese, approaching that way to the reality of the continent and its legal market.

On its Spanish cover article, The Latin American Lawyer presents an extended interview with Luís Alberto Cárdenas Díaz, in-house general counsel of Banco Sabadell México. The challenges of a digital bank in a society which is still facing digitalisation is one of the critical concepts that appeared in the dialogue.

The Portuguese cover article is dedicated to the main operations that marked the year on the Brazilian business law. We reunite the seven transactions that show the strength of the country economy and its legal counsels.

The edition includes a special dossier on the Compliance challenges and its implementation in Guatemala. Zoltán G. Rodas Moys, WCA Guatemala Chapter president, is responsible for coordinating this dossier, which includes some of the country’s most prominent specialists on the area.
