Miranda & Associados has reinforced the team by hiring five associates

pjimage 2022 03 01T105256.227Miranda & Associados has announced the hiring of five associate lawyers: Damien Bergerot, Ricardo Teixeira de Almeida, Rute Guerra da Costa, Vanessa Fernandes and Vanessa Matos Mendes, to integrate the Commercial & Corporate, Litigation & Arbitration and Public & Regulatory areas.

Damien Bergerot, joins the Litigation and Arbitration area as a senior associate. He was a lawyer at Aramis law firm in Paris and has seven years of experience. He graduated in Law and holds a postgraduate degree in Economic Law, Litigation and Arbitration from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris – SciencesPo Paris, and a postgraduate degree in International and Commercial Law from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University Law School.

Ricardo Teixeira de Almeida holds a degree in Law from the University of Coimbra, is attending a postgraduate course in Real Estate Law from the Faculty of Law of Lisbon, and is certified in FinTech: Foundations and Applications of Financial Technology from the University of Pennsylvania. The lawyer, joins from Gouveia Pereira, Costa Freitas & Associados and has more than five years of experience and joins the Real Estate team as an associate.

Rute Guerra da Costa reinforces the Litigation and Arbitration team as an associate. She has a degree in Law from the Faculty of Law of Lisbon and a postgraduate degree in Intellectual Law – promoted by the Portuguese Association of Intellectual Law in partnership with the same Faculty. The lawyer comes from Albuquerque & Almeida Advogados and has four years of experience.

Vanessa Fernandes holds a degree in Law and a postgraduate degree in Law Enforcement, Compliance and Criminal Law from the Faculty of Law of Lisbon, as well as a Master’s degree in Legal and Criminal Sciences from the same Faculty. The lawyer, joins from Albuquerque & Almeida Advogados, has around three years of experience and is also joining the Litigation and Arbitration team as an associate.

Finally, Vanessa Matos Mendes reinforces Miranda’s Commercial & Corporate and Public & Regulatory areas as an associate. She hods a degree in Law and a postgraduate degree in Public Procurement from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon. The lawyer, joins from PLMJ, has more than 10 years of experience in the field of Commercial and Corporate Law, Public Procurement and PPPs.

These integrations are in line with the firm’s growth strategy, in Portugal and internationally, and according to Diogo Xavier da Cunha, the firm’s managing partner: “The integration of these lawyers are part of Miranda’s growth, a bet on new and promising talents in the field of law, and respond to the growing demands of the market in the respective areas of practice.”
