Melo Alves opens Ammadeus office in Luanda
Ammadeus, an Angolan law firm and the exclusive Angola member of Melo Alves Global, officially inaugurated its new office in Luanda this September.
Ammadeus was set up at the end of 2025 as a law firm focused on Angola’s strategic economic sectors, working with both domestic and international clients. The firm currently advises clients in oil and gas, mining, infrastructure, aviation and banking, sectors it describes as central to the Angolan economy. Its exclusive integration into Melo Alves Global is intended to strengthen the network’s ability to serve clients across Angola, Portugal and China.
The Ammadeus team is led by two partners, Ana Major and Marcelo Mendes Mateus, both of whom also serve as international consultants for Melo Alves Global. Melo Alves Global combines international know-how with local knowledge of the Angolan market, supporting international clients, including Portuguese companies, operating in Angola.
