Marta Carretero, new director of Fraternidad-Muprespa’s counseling and legal services center

Fraternidad-Muprespa has appointed Marta Carretero as the new director of the counseling and legal services center. The lawyer will report directly to Carlos Aranda, managing director of the Mutual.

Marta Carretero assures that she is “eager and excited to start this new stage. The purpose will be to contribute as much as possible to the proper management of the public resources managed by our company, protecting and looking after the interests of the Mutual, its employees and its members”.

A member of the Madrid Bar Association, she graduated in Law from the Autonomous University of Madrid, and is certified as an expert in Social Security by the University of Castilla-La Mancha. Her professional development in the world of law began as a notary public in Madrid.

After this initial stage she went on to practice law in multidisciplinary firms, specializing in the social and contentious-administrative jurisdiction, assuming the defense in procedures whose functional competence has addressed from courts of first instance and High Courts of Justice throughout the national territory, to the National Court and the Supreme Court.

Linked to Fraternidad-Muprespa since 2019, she has worked as a Social Security control lawyer, assuming the procedural defense and advice of the entity. Also, in 2023 she was appointed deputy director of the counseling and legal services center.

Counseling and Legal Services Center

The main activity of the Counseling and Legal Services Center is to provide legal advice to the entire Mutual, its governing bodies, its central services and its network of centers.

It also intervenes in the name and representation of Fraternidad-Muprespa in the judicial procedures or previous administrative procedures in which the Mutual is involved, and provides the entity with legal services, both advisory and procedural practice.
