Pérez-Llorca advises Nexus Capital on the sale of Boost IT and Hexis Technology Hub to Emagine
Pérez-Llorca Lisboa has advised on the sale of Boost IT and Hexis Technology Hub, which belonged to the holding Nexus Capital Group, to the international consulting firm Emagine, a Danish business and IT consultancy.
Founded in 2018, Boost IT has established itself as one of Portugal’s leading IT service providers and was included in Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 EMEA 2023 list. The company specializes in IT services, specifically in digital and data transformation and has 500 full-time equivalent (FTE) IT professionals and 50 additional employees. Hexis Technology Hub, a company in the same group as Boost IT, has a team of 50 IT professionals, also in full-time equivalency (FTE).
The acquisition of Boost IT, including the group company Hexis Technology Hub, was completed on December 4, 2024, and the integration processes begin immediately.
A multidisciplinary team of lawyers specialized in various areas participated in the transaction. The corporate team was led by partner Rodrigo F. Nogueira and also included lawyers Rita Braga Themido, Mariana Melo Pinto and Rodrigo Afonso Costa. Partner Susana Estêvão Gonçalves and attorney Nicolle Barbetti participated on the tax side, while Inês Arruda (partner) and Miguel Riço dos Santos (attorney) advised on labor matters.
