Mariscal confirms new partner
Mariscal & Abogados has promoted Irene Terrazas to the partnership, as of 1 January 2022
Mariscal & Abogados has announced the reinforcement of its partnership, with the promotion of Irene Terrazas as of 1 January 2022.
Mariano Jiménez, managing partner of the firm, said: “We believe Irene represents the profile of the true partner we need to continue to drive our project forward, with the bonus of her empathy and ease of day-to-day dealings.”
Irene began her professional career at Broseta and joined Mariscal in 2018 as part of the Energy & Utilities, Life Sciences & Healthcare and M&A group, which she has led in recent years alongside partner Alberto Álvarez. The lawyer is currently leading the firm’s international expansion, by working in Madrid and London during the period 2021-2022.
In addition, she has distinguished herself for her extensive experience and support in the Energy & Utilities sector being nominated within “Iberian Lawyer Forty under 40 Awards” as Finalist for “Energy Lawyer of the Year” for two consecutive years in a row (2020 and 2021).
Irene holds a Law degree and a double Master’s degree in Access to Law Profession and Business Legal Advice from the Instituto de Empresa Law School (IE). She has studied at the American University of Washington D.C. (Washington College of Law) and Robert Schuman III University of Strasbourg (France).
