Linklaters and Garrigues advise on €100m sale of Nucap’s European division to Artá Capital
Linklaters advised Nucap Industries on the sale of braking system manufacturer Nucap Europe and Nucap Vehicle Component (Shanghai) to private equity firm Artá Capital. The deal was valued at €100 million.
The deal is the eighth completed by Artá Capital’s second fund Artá Fund II. Based in Spain, the business will be rebranded as Nuadi and, as a result of the transaction, will acquire Nucap’s Chinese subsidiary.
The Linklaters team advising Nucap Industries included partner Carmen Burgos, managing associate Pablo Medina and associate Enrique Areilza.
Garrigues advised Artá Capital on the deal. The Garrigues team included partners Álvaro Lopez-Jorrín, Jose Miguel Pinillos, Xabier Urtiaga, Manuel Torres, principal associate Lucy Luo, associate Manuel Gómez and junior associates Carlos Lozano, Juan Blanco, Fernando Sánchez.
