Legora unveils new brand identity and expands AI Platform

Legora, formerly known as Leya, has announced a new brand identity alongside the launch of three new AI-driven tools designed to optimize legal work. The platform, already trusted by over 200 clients across 15 countries, is used in Spain by leading law firms such as Pérez-Llorca, RocaJunyent, and Araoz & Rueda to enhance efficiency and automate processes.

Founded in 2023 and led by Swedish entrepreneur Max Junestrand, Legora aims to bridge the gap between lawyers and technology. The rebrand draws from the Latin word legra, meaning “to unite,” reflecting the platform’s mission to connect legal expertise with AI for greater efficiency and smarter decision-making.

With offices in Stockholm and London, Legora has secured over $35 million in funding from top investors, including Benchmark, Redpoint, SV Angel, and Y Combinator.

Alongside its rebranding, Legora has introduced three new AI-powered tools to streamline legal tasks:

  • Advanced Legal Research Assistant: Uses intelligent queries to refine search accuracy and depth.
  • Word Integration: A built-in add-in for Microsoft Word, enabling users to interact with document content, apply legal manuals, and edit based on comments and annotations.
  • Real-Time Collaboration Tool: Enhances teamwork with live updates and integrations with widely used platforms like iManage and SharePoint.

With these innovations, Legora continues to drive the digital transformation of the legal sector, reinforcing its role as a key partner for law firms seeking AI-powered efficiency.
