Kreston Iberaudit promotes Carla Torras to partner in Barcelona
Kreston Iberaudit has promoted Carla Torras Martí to partner in its Barcelona office, strengthening the firm’s tax practice and recognising more than a decade of experience advising companies and professionals on tax matters.
Torras, who joined Kreston Iberaudit in 2017, specialises in national and international tax advisory, corporate taxation, tax planning, business restructurings, tax due diligence, tax inspections and proceedings, tax compliance and risk management. In her new role, she will continue to support the growth of the firm’s tax practice in Barcelona and advise clients on increasingly complex regulatory and tax challenges.
Commenting on the appointment, Mercè Martí Queralt, executive chairwoman of Kreston Iberaudit, said the promotion reflects Torras’ professional development within the firm and her ability to take on greater responsibilities.
She holds a degree in Economics from Pompeu Fabra University, a Master’s in Tax Advisory and Management from ESADE Business & Law School, and a Master’s in Financial Management and Accounting from Pompeu Fabra University. Torras is also an Accredited Tax Advisor Economist and a member of Spain’s Registro de Economistas Asesores Fiscales (REAF).
Throughout her career, she has advised companies across multiple industries, helping them with tax planning, compliance and risk management strategies.
