Andersen adds Sergio Fernández as a partner in Valencia
Andersen has incorporated Sergio Fernández Monedero as partner of its urban planning practice in the Valencia office. Joining from Cuatrecasas, Fernández Monedero brings more than 25 years of specialized experience in urban planning, land use regulation, environmental law and public procurement.
Fernández Monedero holds a law degree from the University of Valencia and completed his training with a Master’s in Territorial and Urban Planning Policy from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Over the course of his career, he has worked on complex projects and has represented clients in administrative litigation proceedings of various kinds, while also contributing to drafting preliminary regulatory bills related to his specialty. He is also a speaker at conferences and courses on urban planning and public law and has co-authored several reference manuals as well as numerous articles in his field.
José Vicente Morote, managing partner of Andersen Iberia, said Fernández is a professional with a long track record and deep knowledge of urban planning law, and that his incorporation expands the firm’s capacity to advise companies and public entities on projects requiring technical expertise, regulatory understanding and business vision.
