KPMG advises JB Capital on Sesderma backed by Kartesia
KPMG has advised JB Capital on its investment in Sesderma, the dermatological laboratory founded by Dr. Gabriel Serrano, in a transaction supported by private debt investor Kartesia.
The deal marks the entry of JB Capital into the shareholding structure of one of Spain’s best-known dermatology and skincare groups. Sesderma has built a strong international presence over the years, supported by its focus on innovation, research and the development of specialised dermatological products.
The transaction comes amid continued investor interest in healthcare, wellness and consumer health businesses, sectors that have remained attractive due to their growth prospects, international expansion potential and resilient demand dynamics.

KPMG acted as adviser to JB Capital throughout the transaction, providing multidisciplinary support across corporate finance, due diligence, legal, tax, labour, ESG and value creation matters.
