Kennedys merges with Portuguese firm N. Maldonado Sousa & Associados

Kennedys has integrated Portuguese law firm N. Maldonado Sousa & Associados into its Lisbon office.

Nuno Maldonado Sousa, the sole partner of N. Maldonado Sousa & Associados, joins the British firm as a partner along with two associates, Gabriela Rei and Carla Almeida Cruz. The team specialises in contentious and non-contentious advice to businesses related to the areas of corporate and commercial, real estate and construction, employment and life sciences.

Kennedys opened its office in Lisbon in 2011.
