The profile

The move follows his most recent role at Telix Pharmaceuticals Limited, where he served as Global General Counsel MedTech, Chief Privacy Officer and Global AI Legal Lead. In that capacity, he oversaw legal strategy for the group’s Medical Technologies business unit, including medical devices, artificial intelligence and digital health solutions, while also leading global privacy and AI governance initiatives across the organisation.

Prior to that, Muñoz was general counsel and Compliance Officer for Spain at Gilead Sciences, where he led legal and compliance functions across multiple therapeutic areas and played a key role in supporting product launches and market access strategies. During his tenure, he also built and managed a multidisciplinary legal and compliance team in Spain.

Earlier in his career, he spent more than a decade at GSK, holding several senior regional legal positions across Europe, including Southern Europe, Central and Eastern Europe, and Northern Europe. His experience included leading major integration projects such as the GSK–Novartis consumer healthcare joint venture and managing complex multi-jurisdictional antitrust clearance processes.

Muñoz began his legal career at Imperial Brands, with roles spanning Spain and the United States.
