Impresa hires new head of Legal

The Portuguese company Impresa has hired Maria João Faísca from PLMJ as its new head of Legal

The Impresa group is the Portuguese media company with the largest number of television channels broadcasting across borders. With more than 15 years of experience, Maria João Faísca was PLMJ’s managing associate in the area of Technology, Media and Communications, having a wide experience in the Technology and Media sectors, as well as in Intellectual Property. Besides this, before joining PLMJ, she was part of the legal department of the PT Group for almost 10 years and a TMT lawyer at CCA. Maria João holds a degree in Law from Universidade Nova de Lisboa.

Maria João Faísca is well known in the market for her expertise in IT, Telecoms, Data Protection, Consumer Rights, Publicity, Commercial Law, Civil and Contract Law, Media, Industrial and Property Rights.
